The universities are Bandung Institute of Technology (Bandung); Gajah Mada University (Yogyakarta); Padjajaran University (Bandung); University of Indonesia (Jakarta); November Ten Institute of Technology (Surabaya); Trisakti University (Jakarta); National Development University (Yogyakarta); Sriwijaya University (Palembang); Cendrawasih University (Jayapura); Jayapura University of Science and Technology (Jayapura); Bandung Islamic University (Bandung); Andalas University (Padang); and Papua State University (Manokwari).
The primary academic disciplines applicable to PTFI are Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology/ Computer Science, Chemistry, Accounting, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering, and Business Administration Management.
New Graduate Hiring Trend
PTFI increased hiring of graduates in each of the last 4 years. Hiring for the 2006 program totaled more than 100 new graduates and was a significant increase compared with the 2005 program. The company would like to hire more than 160 new graduates under its 2008 program.
