JAKARTA – PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) has been selected as one of the companies presented with the Indonesia Most Admired Company Award, in the mining category, as part of the Indonesia Most Admired Companies (IMACO) Award held by Warta Ekonomi, on Friday, May 19, 2017, in Jakarta.
The award was presented by Warta Ekonomi Founder, Fadel Muhammad, himself to PTFI Executive Vice President Tony Wenas, in the presence of Warta Economy Chief Editor Muhammad Ihsan. The Indonesia Most Admired Company awards are given as an appreciation to enterprises in Indonesia which have been chosen as the most ideal company by both employees and job seekers.
In the process of its investigation, the Warta Ekonomi Intelligence Unit team conducted researches both quantitative and qualitative, and involved 6,000 respondents in various cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar. The IMACO 2017 award presentation night was attended by leading enterprises in various fields in Indonesia, private or foreign, and state-owned enterprises.
