Freeport to Build Science Building at UnCen at cost of IDR 46 Billion

PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) will build a Center for Scientific Research and Partnership at the Cendrawasih University in Jayapura, Papua with an investment of IDR 45 Billion. The concept of the building is environmentally friendly. It will be built on a plot of land belonging to Uncen covering 2,766 square meters. The building was recently inaugurated with a groundbreaking ceremony conducted by the Minister of Investment, Bahlil Lahadalia, Freeport Management and the University’s Governance Body on Thursday (10/6/22).

60 Gadjah Mada University Students Receive Scholarships from Freeport

A total of 60 students of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), or Gajah Mada University received scholarships from PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI). As many as 50 students received scholarships for one semester of five million Rupiah, while 10 outstanding students from Papua received tuition until graduation.

Mineral Downstream Activity Boosting National Economy
