The Biggest, Freeport Contributes PNBP of Rp 4.2 Trillion

JAKARTA – PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) give a big contribution to the state through Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP).

For this state revenue contribution, PTFI received awards from Indonesia Mining Association (IMA) Award 2019.

 

Head of IMA, Ido Hutabarat said the contribution of PTFI for the PNBP target reached more than 10 percent or Rp 4.2 trillion. This contribution increases 51% compared to the last year with Rp 2.02 trillion.

 

Ido said the contribution of PTFI boosted the realization of Indonesia PNBP year 2018 on the mineral and coal mining sector so it was reached Rp 32.2 trillion.

 

“This awarding is an encouragement for the companies member of IMA to contribute more for the state and the community,” said Ido on his official statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (27/11/2019).

 

PTFI also received the awards on the category of the best company on Implementing Community Development.

 

Currently, PTFI also has six community development programs, such as for the education, health program, real income/employment program, economic independence program, social and culture program, and infrastructure program.
