MIND ID Group Distributes a Total Of 532 Sacrificial Cows and 123 Sacrificial Goats

SVP Corporate Secretary of MIND ID, Ratih Amri, said the distribution of sacrificial animals in the framework of celebrating Eid al-Adha Year 1442 H represents one form of the concern and tolerance among humans, as a part of MIND ID Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR program.

“MIND ID is always committed to implement social community programs to support welfare/prosperity enhancement,” stated Ratih Amri. MIND ID, as the state-owned mining industry holding, disbursed 40 sacrificial animals comprising 9 cows and 31 goats, which were distributed in the Jakarta area. The beneficiaries were communities economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also implemented were disbursement of sacrificial animals which were distributed as part of the respective MIND ID members individual CSR programs. ANTAM distributed a total of 74 cows and 73 goats which were distributed within ANTAM’s operational area such as in Kolaka and North Konawa, Southeast Sulawesi; East Halmahera and Ternate; North Maluku; Tayan and Mempawah; West Kalimantan; Bogor, West Java; Greater Jakarta, as well as in a number of ANTAM exploration areas. Bukit Asam distributed 149 cows and 12 goats covering the areas of Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim and Palembang, South Sumatera; Ombilin, West Sumatera; Tarahan, Lampung and Jakarta.

Freeport Indonesia through Yayasan Masyarakat Muslim Freeport Indonesia/YMMFI (Freeport Indonesia Muslim Community Foundation) distributed 36 cows and 5 goats which were distributed among a number of regional groups, namely in the Mimika Regency and other regencies in Papua, and various other regions in Indonesia. Inalum Operating distributed in total 38 cows and 2 goats in the Batu Bara and Toba Samosir Regency in the surroundings of the aluminium smelting plant and the hydropower plant.

Meanwhile, PT Timah disbursed a total of 226 cows which were distributed in three provinces, namely Bangka Belitung, Riau Islands, and Greater Jakarta; covering distributions in Bangka Regency, West Bangka, Central Bangka, South Bangka, East Belitung, Karimun; and Jakarta. The distribution of the sacrificial animals was carried out in accordance with prevailing health protocols and regulations applicable in the respective area of each MIND ID member. The company hopes that the sacrificial animal program distribution is able to alleviate the economic burden of the communitiy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as contribute towards meeting fulfilling basic food commodity.
