MIND ID Group Invites Employees to be Social Volunteers in Bogor

The Holding Company for State Mining Companies, MIND ID, is inviting its employees to get involved voluntarily in social activities with the aim to continue the Employees Volunteering Bhakti Senyawa program. The program which is anannual event, this year will be held in Cicadas Village, Bogor, West Java.

Mind ID’s Director of Institutional Relations, Dany, said he had invited 41 volunteers from the MIND ID Group to get involved with the program, respectively 6 from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, 7 from PT Bukit Asam Tbk, 7 from PT Timah, 9 from PT Inalum (Persero), 1 from PT Freeport Indonesia and 11 from MIND ID.

“I would like to thank you all, employees of the MIND ID Group, for taking a break from your daily office duties and to spread laughter, to serve others, and create thousands of inspirations,” Dany said in a written statement on Tuesday (7/19/2022)

He continued to say employees’ involvement encourages spirit of volunteerism and real time practices of harmony and collaboration which are in agreement with the ethics of the Ministry of State Enterprises. In addition, he said, social activities are running parallel with the MIND ID Group’s culture movement which represents a Noble Purpose.

In addition, Dany said Bakti Se.Nya,wa runs parallel with the pillars of sustainability which were launched by the MIND ID Group and answers to the Sustainability Development Goals (SDG’s) in point 4, Quality Education in point 6, Access to Clean Water and Sanitation and in point 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Furthermore, Dany explained, that this time Bakti Se.Nya.wa is striving to fulfil the primary needs of the community, such as housing, food and education. The volunteers involved were divided into 3 groups. The first group, consisted of physical development volunteers who alongside the community were working on the end process of physical construction of 5 houses the beneficiaries of which would turn them into suitable residents.

    Second, volunteer teachers with the role of inspiring elementary pupils to apply healthy living behaviour (PHBS), and, three, documentation volunteers who eternalize and disseminate good stories through the art of photography.

    Dany said that he participated in distributing hundreds of food packages to families in the surrounding areas, including school supplies to local elementary pupils. He said the pupils who received the aid were looking very happy and were laughing and having fun with the volunteer teachers who were instantly turned into teachers for a day.

“We do believe that inspiration is not only the task and responsibility of a school teacher, neither is bringing welfare to the community the sole task of the government.

Through its Se.Nya.wa program, MIND ID wants to be present and directly involved in dedicating itself to the community, to spread positive inspiration and support  and implement SDGs programs,” he said.
